STEP 1: SEALING THE STRINGS
Sealing all of the strings included with your Wind Warrior Fighting Kite will make them easier to thread and use. Roll each end of the string over a small open flame (lighter or candle) for one second to soften and melt the synthetic line. Then remove the string from the flame, wet your finger to create a hard end. Do not start on fire or serious burns will result.

STEP 2: KEEPING THE CAP HANDY
Inside your Wind Warrior Fighting Kite tube you'll find a 12" long string. That one's just to keep you from losing the cap (you're welcome). Tie a large knot at one end of the string, and thread the other end of the string through the cap, ensuring the knot is on the inside of the cap. Then attach the other end of the string to the outside of the tube using tape. Now you won't have to worry about chasing down that cap on a windy day!
STEP 3: INSERTING THE BOWS
Your Wind Warrior comes with two different Cross Pieces. One allows Bow to lay flat while the other allows the Bow to have a Dihedral for faster turns. Note extra set of white, fiberglass Bows. These are much more flexible allowing for easier learning or lighter winds. Bending the bows gently, insert one end of the first bow into your plastic Intersection Cross. Then insert the other Bow into the other side of the Cross. Inserting the second bow will require the bows to bend to their in-flight positions. Make certain both bows are completely inserted all the way into the Intersection Cross.

STEP 4: INSTALLING BRIDLE STRINGS
From the front of the fighting kite thread the 40" Main Bridle String through logo hole, around the spine, and then back through the same hole. Finish by tying a Bolen or equivalent knot to secure the string. Then, again from the front, thread one end of the 17" Upper Bridle string through an eye hole, around the Bow, and back through the same eye hole before tying off. Do the same with the other end of the Upper Bridle string to the other eye. A drop of Super Glue applied to each knot, will keep all knots from loosening. Do not apply Super Glue to the adjustment knots.
STEP 5: CREATING BRIDLE ADJUSTERS
With each of your 9" Bridle Adjuster Strings, create a tear drop shape to each individual string and tie both ends together with a simple knot. You will now have two equally sized loops of string that will allow you to truly dial in your Wind Warrior Fighting Kite.
STEP 6: ATTACHING THE ADJUSTERS
Attach the first Bridle Adjuster about half way down the 40" Main Bridle String using the Prusik Knot as shown. This adjuster will be used to adjust the angle of attack of your fighting kite and to attach your kite to your own line reel string (Not included.)
Attach the other Bridle Adjuster to the center of the Upper Bridle string, again using the Prusik knot. This adjuster is to balance your kite's movements, left and right.
Finally, attach the loose end of the 40" Main Bridle String string to the Upper Bridle Adjuster by trying a Bolen or equivalent knot.
STEP 7: MAKING INITIAL ADJUSTMENTS
Stand over your Wind Warrior Fighting Kite and lift it off the surface using the kite line attachment point. Adjust the Main Bridle Adjuster up or down on the Main Bridle String so the nose of kite rises 1" to 2" from surface before the rear of the kite lifts.
If one side of the kite has a tendency to droop lower than the other, then move the Upper Bridle Adjuster along the Upper Bridle String, toward the drooping side of the kite, until it no longer droops.
